FAQ

For Nurses

Are these jobs curated?
Yes. Every listing on the Nomad Nurse Job Board is intentionally non-traditional - remote, travel, international, volunteer, or otherwise outside the standard hospital bedside job.

Do I need an account to apply?
No account needed to browse. Some applications happen directly through the board, others will redirect you to the employer's own careers page.

Can I get job alerts?
Yes - enter your email at the top of the board to get new listings delivered to your inbox. You can filter by category, job type, and location. You can also set how frequently you'd like to receive job alerts (daily, weekly, monthly).

Is the job board free for nurses?
Always. The board is completely free to browse and apply. Employers pay to post.

Where else can I find non-traditional nursing jobs?
Follow @travel.rn.kenon Instagram for weekly Nomad Nurse Job Drops - curated drops of the best non-traditional roles, posted to Instagram, newsletter, and Substack every week.

For Employers

How long does my listing run?
All listings run for 30 days. Unused posting credits expire after 365 days.

What's the difference between Featured and Spotlight?
Featured gets your listing highlighted and pinned to the top of the board. Spotlight includes everything in Featured plus a dedicated placement in a Nomad Nurse Job Drop — a curated weekly feature distributed to 7,000+ nurses across Instagram, newsletter, and Substack, with your company logo included.

What is a Nomad Nurse Job Drop?
It's a weekly curated post highlighting standout non-traditional nursing roles, shared across Instagram carousels, our email newsletter, and Substack. It's where our most engaged audience shows up - nurses who are actively looking and ready to apply.

Can I post multiple jobs?
Yes - just purchase a listing for each role. If you're hiring consistently, the Employer Partner program may be a better fit. Reach out to learn more.

What kinds of roles perform best here?
Travel contracts, remote and telehealth roles, international positions, cruise ship and expedition nursing, camp nursing, flight nursing, occupational health, and any role with a lifestyle angle. If it would make a nurse stop scrolling, it belongs here.
