Description

We have two fantastic opportunities for nursing professionals to join our East Tamaki branch in Auckland as either an Occupational Health Nurse or a Senior Occupational Health Nurse.

In these roles, you’ll deliver high-quality occupational health services to a wide range of clients, supporting safe, healthy, and productive workplaces. You’ll use your strong nursing assessment skills, clinical judgement, and proactive communication to ensure smooth and effective service delivery. This is a varied and rewarding role, with opportunities to work across social rehabilitation, concussion services, and vocational rehabilitation contracts.

This is a full-time role , with flexibility to work occasional extended hours outside standard office times .

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel around the region. 

Main responsibilities:  

  • Deliver clinical occupational health assessments and provide clear feedback to clients
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting
  • Manage equipment, scheduling and patient management systems efficiently
  • Build strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Promote Habit Health’s services and identify opportunities to support new and existing customers

The ideal candidate:

  • Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursing for senior position 
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills – comfortable delivering health education sessions to groups, both in person and online
  • Willingness to travel across Auckland as required
  • Professional, proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation (Privacy, H&S, health information)
  • Confidence using clinical systems and digital tools
  • Valid NZ drivers license
